Cayton Bay is located in a superb landscaped location on the clifftops near overlooking the sea near the town of Filey, with some of the best sea views on the coast in North Yorkshire.

We stayed here at the End of July/early August for a week and we didn't want to come home. It's a beautiful site. Well maintained and clean. The staff are lovely and there is plenty to do and whilst the entertainment will never be to everyone's liking, we loved it. Especially The Ricky K show. He was hilarious. Food at the Boathouse is delicious. Fingers crossed we'll be back next year.
Amazing Week away , made to feel very welcome from the lovely Mercedes from the moment we arrived until we left, she always went above and beyond for us all , definitely the 3 children ! Definitely a credit to have work for yous xx
As a family we have visited Cayton for a many years, but we haven’t been since the pandemic until last week. Wow!! What can I say… the changes to the facilities are incredible!
The new outdoor sports facilities are amazing and my kids 6 & 8 absolutely loved the high ropes section (thanks Glenn and Neil for a great session!).
There hasn’t been much changes to the pool but you can see the staff really care! Greeted by a guy called Sam while we were there who was chatty and helpful!
The girls painted some pots in the new arts and crafts section where we were very impressed with the cleanliness and the staff in there were lovely (think her name was Lizzie??).
We unfortunately had to leave early which meant we couldn’t pick our pots up but called the park and spoke to the manager Daryl who was really helpful and sent them to our home address for us!!!
And that was just the activities part! The park is stunning, the restaurants are amazing (street eats and the new outdoor eating area is amazing!!) and we couldn’t resist scoops ice cream and waffles they smelled and tasted amazing!!!
All in all, for our first holiday back to the east coast since the pandemic began - Cayton Bay you made it incredible! Thank you!
Cayton Bay is an excellent caravan park. The staff are friendly and do their best to accommodate to all your needs. There are things to do for all ages and lots of places to visit within a short distance from the site.
